Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive business growth through the Direct Sales Channel in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and managing a team of sales executives to promote Aditya Birla Health Insurance products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve business targets and drive sales growth for health insurance products through the direct channel.
• Recruit, train, and lead a team of direct sales executives/agents to achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals.
• Generate leads through various activities, including cold calls, references, corporate tie-ups, and direct customer visits.
• Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and motivation sessions with the team.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to strategize business plans.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and regulatory guidelines.
• Submit regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and market insights to senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline 
• 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in health/life/general insurance or BFSI sector.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
